Born in Montreal
Quebec, Canada and from Italian descent. Frank began playing guitar at age
14 and having always preferred the creative side to music, began writing music very early in
his musical journey. Frank wrote and recorded his first
piece of music at age 16 using a tape recorder, a beginner's keyboard looping
3 chords with a basic
drum beat, and an improvised guitar solo.
Frank's musical
instruction began with an 'introduction to classical guitar' course in the
8th grade and continued learning through guitar magazines and performing
with various high-school bands.
He later pursued music
studies at Vanier College in Montreal Quebec, Canada to improve on music
theory, ear training, touching both Classical piano (minor) and Jazz
guitar (major) as well as singing in the college choir.
Although Frank's role in many
bands has primarily been as guitarist, he also enjoys playing bass and
singing lead, back vocals and playing piano/keyboard.
